Stuttgart Instruments stands for broadly tunable, highly precise and repeatable laser systems in the visible to mid-infrared. Our systems with pulse durations from 100 fs to 10 ps and repetition rates from 10 to 100 MHz find application in material research, life sciences, and sensing and analytics.

Technology
Unique wavelength generation
Our hybrid fiber and solid-state FFOPO technology combines broad tuning with passive stability, repeatable settings, and low noise, without active wavelength locking.
- Hybrid fiber-feedback and bulk nonlinear gain
- Dispersive tuning with < 0.05 nm accuracy
- Passive spectral stability < 0.02 %rms
Fiber-feedback OPO (FFOPO) 20 to 100× more dispersion: passive wavelength stability
Conventional OPO Low intra-cavity dispersion: active piezo lock required
Company
Spin-off of the University of Stuttgart
Founded in 2017, we develop and build passively stable laser sources for demanding spectroscopy and microscopy, from nanoscale IR microscopy to trace-gas sensing.
